Getting to Seville

Seville is easy to reach from the main spanish cities. Seville has an international airport (Seville-San Pablo Airport) and a main train station (Sevilla-Santa Justa) with a high-speed train (AVE) connecting Seville with Madrid as well as many other important cities in Spain.

Airport.

Seville-San Pablo Airport is about 10 km far from the city center. The most convenient way to get to Seville is by taxi.

There are usually plenty of taxis at the exit doors of the airport. They keep an order so you need to go to the taxi queue and stand for a taxi.

There are two different fixed fares for a taxi from the airport to any point within the limits of Seville and vice versa:

  1. Fare 1: 19.04 Euro (applied from Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 21:00).
  2. Fare 2: 21.24 Euro (applied from 21:00 to 07:00 on weekdays; Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and December 24th and 31st from 00:00 to 24:00; and public holidays in April and Holy Week).

Sevilla–Santa Justa train station is connected to the city center by local bus lines C1, C2 and 32.

To go from the train station (Sevilla-Santa Justa) to Hotel Macarena or to the workshop venue (Escuela Superior de Ingenieros) take the C2 bus. There are bus stops right next to the Hotel and to the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros. To go back to the train station take the C1 bus, which goes back in the opposite direction.
